It was special: dozens of donors who’d started scholarship funds sat around the tables with student recipients.
There was a program and names were announced, people spoke and photo opps were captured, but perhaps most unique about the Community Foundation Scholarship Reception was seeing donors who are investing into Weld County’s future sitting next to the students who are so excited to take this future on. It was really something.
This past April 30th, 125 scholarships were awarded in excess of 275K. This makes 3.2 million in scholarships since ’97 through the Foundation, thanks to donor generosity.
