In celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday and our nation’s 250th, the Weld Community Foundation is honored to present Legends of Weld County, the theme of this year’s Spread the Good Luncheon. Through storytelling, music, poetry, and Chautauqua-style performance, we will encounter the lives of pioneers, founders, and community-builders whose courage shaped the land and people we know today. These living portraits of history will invite us to reflect on where we have come from and the enduring spirit that continues to guide our community forward.
Join us for an afternoon that grounds us in the past while calling us toward the future. As we listen and remember, we will also ask a deeper question: What does it mean to be a legend in our own time? Together, we will celebrate the ways generosity, vision, and commitment still shape Weld County—ensuring that the stories told about this place, generations from now, will include each of us.
