The Weld Recovers Fund: COVID-19 Relief application is now open. For nonprofit organizations that would like to apply, the online application is found at https://forms.gle/mW8AGCCg7pENTRzk9.

The deadline for the first review is Monday, April 6, 2020 at 5 pm MT. The Weld Recovers Team anticipates that additional needs will be identified as time goes on, and will therefore have a second review deadline as well (date to be determined).

The COVID-19 Relief Fund will be distributed to non-profit organizations helping people in Weld County directly impacted by the pandemic. Examples of beneficiaries include (but are not limited to) nonprofits which have experienced increased service levels assisting with:

  • Vulnerable populations, particularly homeless communities
  • Those at imminent risk of homelessness
  • Low-income households
  • Older adults
  • Those experiencing food insecurity

Of particular note, the fund is not designed to simply replace lost revenue or for general operating support, but to assist with increased service level demands caused by COVID-19.

The Weld Recovers Fund: COVID-19 Relief is a joint effort by the United Way of Weld County and the Weld Community Foundation, providing aid to nonprofits and programs impacted by the crisis.
