“When Magic Happens”
There’s a moment when the magician pulls off a trick and the audience is in awe; stunned into an almost quiet shock. At this moment a thought begins to stir, “How did they do that?!” As the applause begins, the audience is left with a sense of wonder.
But doesn’t that same sense of awe come to mind when an incredible act of generosity happens, too? There is a similar wonder that often accompanies a great gift given. It could be a beautiful art piece installed in town or several students in need receiving scholarships or a nonprofit starts an innovative program… There’s a moment when we say to ourselves, “This is so great for our community; such a gift. How did they do that?! How did they pull it off?” And as we applaud, we’re left with that same glad wonder.
It seems like magic.
This event will recognize that magic happens when you spread the good.
