Here at the Weld Community Foundation, we like to say we get a front-row seat to all the good happening in Weld County. It’s true—we are blessed with organizations, small and large, that work day in and day out to address the challenges in our community and improve our quality of life. These nonprofit organizations make our region an amazing place to live. This year especially, we want to honor our nonprofits and recognize the importance of local philanthropy. 
 
That’s why in the lead up to Colorado Gives Day this year we will be working hard to promote local organizations and all the good they do for our community. Read about Gives Day Opportunities below:

Kick-Off Event

We are hosting a very special Kick Off Event to celebrate you! This will be a powerful time to network with other nonprofits, get free professional promo photos for your digital marketing, eat delicious appetizers, sign up for the KFKA Colorado Gives Day Takeover, and enter to win a $500 grant for your organization (and a few other fun prizes)! 

Colorado Gives Day: Kick-Off Event
Friday, November 7th, 2025
LINC Library and Innovation Center
(501 8th Avenue Greeley, CO 80631)
3PM to 4PM

Though the event will be open-house style, we will take a large group photo at 3:45 followed by a drawing for the $500 grant. 

Please join us for this celebration. Bring the crew that makes your organization run and encourage them to wear any t-shirts or other swag that represents your organization. Each person you bring can enter to win the grant drawing, so the more the better!

Social Media Campaign

This year, we will also be adding a social media campaign to our Gives Day promotion. We are planning to highlight a few different Weld County nonprofits each week starting in November and leading up to Gives Day. The posts will include a picture that highlights your work as well as a story from a supporter or constituent. Participating is simple – just share this google form survey with someone who is really passionate about your organization. Have them provide a short story, example, or quote that explains why they love you and a picture (if they have it.) We will then promote your work and link to your Gives Day page! Organizations will be featured on a first-come, first-served basis, so please get the word out soon!
